About ExamTarikh

ExamTarikh is an independent website that explains Indian government exams in plain language. It started in 2026 with guides for SSC CGL, SBI PO and CTET, written from official notices and syllabus documents.

Why ExamTarikh exists

Exam details in India are spread across long PDF notices, coaching websites and social media posts. Many of those pages are full of ads, copied from each other or months out of date. A student who only wants to know the age limit or the exam pattern often has to open five tabs and still is not sure which one is right.

Many students also do not have anyone around them who can explain these notices in simple words. ExamTarikh was started to fill that gap: one clear page for each question, written from the official source, with the date it was last checked.

How we write and check every guide

These rules apply to every page on ExamTarikh.

Official source first

Dates, age limits, fees and syllabus come from the notice or website of the exam body. Coaching sites and social media are never used as the source.

Plain language

Each guide opens with the direct answer, then explains how it applies to you. No filler, no copied text.

Dated and updated

Every guide shows when it was last updated. When an exam body changes a notice, the guide and its date are updated.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, report it on the contact page. We check it against the official source and correct the guide.

Devesh Sunil Tatkare

Founder and writer

I started ExamTarikh in 2026 after seeing how hard it was for students, including many around me, to get a straight answer about an exam without wading through ads, old posts and confusing PDFs. I write and update the guides myself, working from the official notices, and I read every correction that comes in.
